The Homestead at Candlelight Forest is nestled in the tranquil hills of the Chattanooga Valley and just minutes from downtown Chattanooga. This picturesque estate sits across from Lake Angela with a breathtaking view of beautiful Lookout Mountain.

Our goal is to make your wedding day your dream come true. This southern estate is the perfect setting for an elegant experience or a more casual one. Regardless of your vision, The Homestead is a beautiful choice and our staff is eager to exceed your expectations.
Peacock Hall
Start your day at Peacock Hall, our Italiante farm home. Our charming bridal suite includes a full catering kitchen, multiple rooms for getting ready, and a large gathering hall with beautiful natural lighting for pictures.
Courtyard
The most common location for your ceremony is the courtyard or the green space across from The Homestead with Lake Angela as your backdrop. Our handcrafted arbor can be decorated however you choose and is the perfect setting for your vows.
Celebration Barn
Our 150 year-old hand-pegged Celebration Barn is the ideal canvas to create the reception of your dreams. Decorate with drapes and lighting for a more elegant feel, or keep it simple for something more rustic.
Wedding Packages
Our wedding package includes a picturesque hand-pegged Amish barn, a bridal suite in our Italiante farm home and a ceremonial courtyard. The foreground is our own private Lake Angela at the head of our valley. The background includes the highest point on all of Lookout Mountain known as High Point.
Accommodations
We have four on-site accommodations available to create a full destination experience. This includes two treehouses, America's First Idea House, and The Bellewood Lodge. In total, we can house up to 43 people - perfect for traveling family and friends!
